    Product Description

This timeless 3 x 3.5 in. vintage photograph, on high-quality lustre paper, showcases Bruce Lee in a traditional Gung Fu uniform. The image was conceived to promote Bruce in his ground-breaking role as ‘Kato’ in ‘The Green Hornet’ TV series, for ABC, which aired between September 9th, 1966, and March 17th, 1967.

Bruce has personally signed the photo ‘Best Wishes, Bruce Lee’, in black ink, on the left side of the frame in his distinctive and beautiful flowing handwriting. Bruce appeared as Kato in 26 iconic episodes. He co-starred alongside Van Williams, as ‘The Green Hornet’; Wende Wagner as Lenore ‘Casey’ Case and Lloyd Gough as Mike Alford. The show was narrated and produced by William Dozier, who also produced the Batman TV series.

‘The Green Hornet’ gave Bruce his big break on American network television and would inevitably lead to an era-defining career in television and motion-pictures, which remains unsurpassed to this day. Bruce was mobbed by legions of adoring fans, when he appeared at press events as ‘Kato’. He was so popular that the public’s appetite for his personal appearances continued, even after the show had been cancelled.

This signed vintage photograph is a very desirable and increasingly rare article of Bruce Lee memorabilia.
