    Product Description

    Help! (United Artists, 1965). One Sheet (27" X 41").

In a follow-up to their smash-hit debut, 'A Hard Day's Night', 'The Beatles' star in 'Help!', their second feature film with director Richard Lester (Superman II, Robin and Marian and The Three Musketeers). Replete with madcap plot dynamics and pop-art visuals, the film follows The Beatles, as they struggle to record their new album, whilst being relentlessly pursued by a sinister eastern cult and a pair of mad scientists - all of whom are obsessed with obtaining a sacrificial ring recently acquired by Ringo Starr. The plot is absurd and wafer-thin but gives 'The Fab Four' a showcase from which to perform eleven of their most popular songs. Thanks, in large measure, to Richard Lester's stylistic direction and editing, the film's musical sequences would have a major influence on the style and tone of music videos for many years following its release.

Posters for this film have always been popular, given the cultural importance of The Beatles and their massive enduring appeal. The poster has edge and fold wear with small tears and some mild creasing. It also features the National Screen stamp verso; thus verifying its authenticity.

This original theatrical one sheet poster is rare and highly sought after by collectors. It is folded, in fine condition.
