A High Elven screen-used helmet from ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring’ made by Sacha Lees and Simon Lamason under the direction of Sir Richard Taylor at Weta Workshop during film production. This helmet was one of many prominently featured in the opening battle sequence of the film, when the Last Alliance of Elves and Men marched against the Dark Lord Sauron’s forces. This fibreglass stunt prop was created from moulds taken of the original hero prop and has the Elvish rune “GG” embossed into the nose guard, representing allegiance to “Gil-galad”, the commander of the Elven Army.

This prop comes from a collection of authentic movie props procured by official New Line Cinema licensee, United Cutlery, directly from Weta Workshop for use as a reference to produce collectible replicas for fans. it is accompanied by a detailed Certificate of Authenticity from the licensee confirming its authentic production history, as well as its use as reference guide for United Cutlery’s ‘The Lord of the Rings Weapons and Armor Line’. The Weta shipping letter and United Cutlery label are also included.

It displays only minor wear from production filming and is a fantastic piece for any exhibition.
