Terminator Salvation - John Connor's Screen-Matched Leather Jacket Costume
John Connor's screen-matched distressed leather jacket costume from director McG's Terminator Salvation, released in 2009, and starring Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Moon Bloodgood, Dallas Bryce Howard and Anton Yelchin.
This fantastically detailed  and complex costume includes a zip-up brown leather jacket lined with beige fleece, two shirts, a harness, gloves, a belt with a holster, a leather belt, two extra pouches, trousers, and boots. The jacket is accented with a red band on the arm and features handwritten markings on the interior, including "2nd Half Sc 13," "19," and "Sc 198 Connor" in black ink. Additionally, the ensemble comes with four faux C4 blocks, two flares, and a production tag labeled "Project Angel" for "John Connor" (Christian Bale), hand-marked "102c - sc 153," along with two continuity photo thumbnails attached. The costume was intentionally distressed for production purposes, showing some discoloration and frayed fibers, but remains in good condition with signs of use from filming.
Terminator Salvation (2009) is set in a post-apocalyptic future where humanity is locked in a desperate battle for survival against Skynet, an artificial intelligence bent on exterminating mankind. The film follows John Connor (Christian Bale), now an adult leader of the human resistance, as he fights to bring down Skynet. When a mysterious man named Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) arrives, claiming to have been part of a secretive experiment, Connor must determine if Marcus is an ally or a threat. As the war between humans and machines intensifies, Connor uncovers shocking truths that could change the fate of humanity. The film explores themes of sacrifice, destiny, and the blurred lines between man and machine.
This costume has been professionally screen-matched using precise points of distress on the sleeves of the jacket to screen-match the one worn by John Connor, when he fights a Skynet Terminator near a crashed helicopter and again in the scene, where he debriefs other resistance fighters on their group submarine.
Terminator Salvation adopted a darker tone than other movies in the franchise, but fans very much appreciated its high-octane action sequences and spectacular visual effects.
This fantastic costume ensemble comes with a Production Tag and Certificate of Authenticity.
Mannequin and stand not included.

The most famous anecdote from the making of Terminator Salvation involves the intense on-set tension between Christian Bale and the film's director, McG, which became infamous after a leaked audio recording of a rant by Bale made headlines.
The incident occurred during the filming of a scene where Bale, who portrayed John Connor, was emotionally intense and focused on his performance. However, in the background, a crew member was reportedly walking around during the take, disrupting Bale's concentration. Frustrated, Bale unleashed a tirade of expletives at the crew member, and McG, the director, was caught in the crossfire as well. The audio recording, which was released online, featured Bale angrily berating McG and the crew member for the disruption.
The incident became widely publicized, and Christian Bale later publicly apologized for his outburst. In a statement, he explained that his frustration was rooted in the pressure of performing well and maintaining the intensity needed for the scene, which, in hindsight, he acknowledged was not an appropriate way to handle the situation.
Though this outburst became one of the more infamous stories from the production of Terminator Salvation, it didn't overshadow the film's overall production. McG himself downplayed the incident in interviews, emphasizing the difficulties and pressures of making a high-profile action film. Despite the behind-the-scenes drama, both Bale and McG continued their professional relationship, and the film moved forward to its eventual release.
This incident highlighted the often intense nature of filmmaking, especially on large productions like Terminator Salvation, where actors and directors are under significant pressure to deliver an epic and emotionally charged story.
