100th Special - Extra 10% OFF at CHECKOUT

A classic black and white vintage publicity photograph (circa 1970's-1980's) of Marilyn Monroe from a unique private collection. This  This beautiful close-up portrait from Marilyn's final, and sadly unfinished, film, 'Something's Got To Give' (1962), showcases her beauty and vibrant charisma. The movie co-starred Dean Martin and Cyd Charisse and would have been a great addition to Marilyn's body of work. The movie featured a sequence of Marilyn swimming naked in a swimming pool. Publicity photos of the scene were published all over world, and anticipation for the movie reached fever pitch!

Even today, more than 50 years after her passing, Marilyn Monroe’s image still adorns ad campaigns and inspires the world’s leading fashion brands. She is one of the most celebrated and iconic women of all time and enjoys a unique place in the history of popular culture and motion pictures.

Start your collection with an iconic image of one of Hollywood’s brightest and most transcendent stars.

“When I was five, I think, that’s when I started wanting to be an actress. I loved to play. I didn’t like the world around me because it was kind of grim, but I loved to play house. It was like you could make your own boundaries... When I heard that this was acting, I said that’s what I want to be... Some of my foster families used to send me to the movies to get me out of the house and there I’d sit all day and way into the night. Up in front there, with the screen so big, a little kid all alone, and I loved it.” (Marilyn Monroe for Life Magazine, 1962).
