• 2. How are your vintage film posters preserved and shipped?

  We take the greatest possible care in curating, preserving and shipping our vintage film posters to ensure they arrive with you in the best possible condition. Each poster is stored in a climate-controlled environment to prevent deterioration from humidity, light exposure, and other environmental factors. For shipping, posters are carefully packaged based on their size and format:

  • Rolled Posters (typically one-sheets and larger formats) are shipped in sturdy, reinforced tubes to prevent creasing or bending.
  • Folded Posters (as originally issued by studios) are packed flat between acid-free protective sheets and rigid cardboard to maintain their structural integrity.

• 3. Do the posters come with a certificate of authenticity?

  At Kudos Memorabilia, we take authenticity very seriously. While not all vintage movie posters originally came with certificates, we provide a Kudos Memorabilia Guarantee of Authenticity with each purchase. This guarantee assures that the poster is an original theatrical release, unless otherwise stated in the product description. For high-value or highly sought-after pieces, we may also provide third-party authentication from other reputable industry experts.   Since our posters are genuine vintage pieces, their condition can vary depending on age, storage, and handling over the years. At Kudos Memorabilia, we carefully assess and grade each poster based on industry standards, typically using the following classifications:

  • Mint/Near Mint – Minimal to no signs of wear, exceptionally well-preserved.
  • Very Fine – Light handling wear, minor creases or imperfections that do not detract from the overall appearance.
  • Fine – Noticeable signs of aging, such as slight edge wear, fold lines, or small tears, but still in good display condition.
  • Good/Fair – More pronounced wear, including pinholes, tape marks, or some fading, but still collectible and suitable for framing.
