Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) — Rey's Production-Made Hero Staff

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) — Rey's Production-Made Hero Staff

A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine hero prop staff made for Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015, dir. J.J. Abrams) — one carried by Rey (Daisy Ridley) throughout the film. This is not the PROPSHOP 3D-printed replica but a solid, production-made hero prop crafted by the film's prop department.
Custom-built by the on-set propmakers, the staff is made mostly from resin and finished to mimic aged, weathered metal, deliberately distressed to reflect the hard life of a Jakku scavenger. The centre is wrapped in fabric echoing the tones of Rey's iconic costume, with a shoulder strap attached by buckles to the staff. Every detail evokes salvaged machinery, fitting Rey's resourceful, desert-world aesthetic.
Rey's quarterstaff is one of the most recognisable weapons in the sequel trilogy — her constant companion as she scavenged the sands of Jakku, and later her signature weapon in confrontations with the First Order and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

  • Approximate length: 182.5 cm

The Force Awakens was a once-in-a-generation box office phenomenon, finishing its theatrical run with over $2.068 billion worldwide and breaking dozens of records along the way.

For any serious Star Wars collector, Rey's hero staff represents a truly exceptional acquisition. As one of the most iconic props from the sequel trilogy, it was carried by the franchise's central protagonist across some of the most memorable scenes in modern cinema — from the dusty plains of Jakku to her electrifying duel with Kylo Ren. Unlike mass-produced replicas or the commercially available PROPSHOP 3D-printed versions, this is a genuine, production-made hero prop — the type that would have been handled on set during principal photography. With The Force Awakens becoming the fastest film ever to gross $1 billion globally and one of the highest-grossing films of all time, the cultural weight of this piece is undeniable. At 182.5 cm, it is a commanding display item, and with its custom stand and on-set photography included, it arrives as a complete, exhibition-ready artefact from a defining moment in blockbuster history.

Display stand not included.

  • Additional Information

Set approximately 30 years after Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens follows Rey, a young scavenger on the desert planet Jakku, who crosses paths with Finn, a disillusioned First Order stormtrooper, and a droid called BB-8 carrying a secret map to the missing Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. The First Order — a fascist successor to the fallen Galactic Empire, led by the shadowy Supreme Leader Snoke — is desperate to find and destroy Luke before the Resistance can.

Rey and Finn escape Jakku aboard the Millennium Falcon, eventually falling in with Han Solo and Chewbacca, and making their way to the Resistance led by General Leia Organa. The story builds to a confrontation at Starkiller Base — a planet converted into a superweapon — where Han Solo is killed by his own son, the conflicted villain Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Rey defeats Kylo in a lightsaber duel, Starkiller Base is destroyed, and R2-D2 finally reveals the full map to Luke — whom Rey tracks down at a remote ocean-world temple in the film's closing moments.
