A genuine pair of screen-used 'Tabi' ninja socks worn by a member of the stunt-team in his role as a warrior from The League of Shadows in ‘Batman Begins’, the classic first instalment of Christopher Nolan’s celebrated ‘Dark Knight Trilogy.’
The socks are fashioned in a cotton, polyester and nylon blend. They correspond to the UK shoe size 8-10 (USA 8.5-10.5). They feature the traditional split-toe design and were crafted to compliment split-toe shoes and boots.
They were worn during the famous temple sequence, where Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) must uncover Henri Ducard, played by Liam Neeson, as he moves with incredible stealth through parallel lines of warrior ninjas from 'The League of Shadows'. The sequence was filmed at Shepperton Studios near London, and the stunt performers were schooled in the Keysi Fighting Method to give the action a unique precision and economy of movement.
The socks remain in excellent production-used condition and would make a fun addition to a collection celebrating the Batman or Dark Knight franchise.
