Bruce Lee Working The Heavy Bag - Framed Ex Exhibition Photograph

Bruce Lee Working The Heavy Bag - Framed Ex Exhibition Photograph

A stunning 25.5 x 19.75" exhibition print showing Bruce Lee practising punching techniques on one of his heavy bags with assistance from one of his students, Ted Wong.

This evocative, black and white photo showcases Bruce Lee's power and focus on the heavy bag. Bruce Lee's heavy bag training was a cornerstone of his power development regimen, though he cautioned against excessive use. He primarily worked with a conventional 70-pound bag found in most boxing gyms, but also trained with a custom-made 300-pound bag gifted by Bob Wall, and even practiced on an extraordinary 700-pound bag.

This timeless and indelible image has been printed on premium Kodak stock.

This stunning print was specially created for exhibition purposes. It is framed in matt-black wood and protected by Nielsen Bainbridge's True Colour glass - a special presentation grade that virtually eliminates all reflections of visible light making glass appear invisible.

This beautiful article would make a wonderful addition to the portfolio of any discerning collector of Bruce Lee memorabilia.

  • Additional Information

Bruce Lee used the heavy bag to develop power while maintaining his focus on speed and endurance during striking sessions, often aiming for 500 punches daily, some thrown while holding light weights. Lee combined power strikes with footwork drills, moving around the bag while staying light on his feet to maintain balance and positioning. His training also included combination drills that integrated speed, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to switch effortlessly between different punch types.
