Blade Runner 2049 - Luv’s (Sylvia Hoeks) Stunt Knife
This stunt- knife was part of Luv’s (Sylvia Hoeks) weapons arsenal in Blade Runner 2049. As a Nexus-9 replicant, Luv began her role serving the LAPD as a blade runner before becoming the fiercely loyal enforcer and assistant to Niander Wallace (Jared Leto). During the film’s intense final fight in the rain, Luv wielded two blades against Officer K (Ryan Gosling): first a curved knife, then this straight-bladed, stiletto-style weapon used to stab K. She also used a similar blade to kill Lieutenant Joshi (Robin Wright) earlier in the story.
The knife features a silver-coloured finish and comes cast in dense urethane. It includes a long, slender triangular blade with a carved channel running cleanly through its centre. The grip displays sharply detailed straight-line patterns and a diagonal cross-hatch design, matching the film’s distinctive futuristic aesthetic.
During Blade Runner 2049's climactic showdown atop a sinking transport on a seawall, Ryan Gosling (K) and Sylvia Hoeks (Luv) battled through crashing waves and rising water in a physically grueling sequence. The crew built the entire scene in a massive water tank in Budapest and filmed it over two weeks at night, complete with simulated rain, wind, and slippery surfaces that made the environment almost character-like in its hostility.
Sound designers Mark Mangini, Doug Hemphill, and Ron Bartlett crafted an immersive auditory experience intended to make viewers feel trapped "in an underwater coffin." Their work used alternating underwater and above‑water effects, even recording screams in a hot tub to achieve believable submersion soundscapes.
The piece shows authentic production use, with visible nicks, abrasions, and finish wear, but remains in good overall condition—offering a rare and visually striking piece from Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed sci-fi vision.
The item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
