Terminator 3 Costume and Arm
Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines, 2003
A complete costume worn by the beautiful and deadly TX, played by Kristanna Loken, in ‘Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines’.
The outfit, designed by April Ferry (Donnie Darko and Jurassic World), is the main hero costume and appears in numerous sequences throughout the film, as well as in much of the project’s publicity materials. The jacket and trousers are tailored in crocodile-textured faux-leather. A grape-coloured thin nylon mesh leotard and brown leather boots with high ‘silver’ heels complete the set. The jacket is labelled “KL Stunt 5” and “PEG Stunt.”
The prop TX arm, created by the legendary Stan Winston Studios, is manufactured from resin and fibreglass and finished to evoke a black ‘alien’ metal. The cyborg arm simulates a four-pronged pulse weapon, and illuminates blue from the forearm section and orange from the tip. It is powered with a battery pack, which is included. The costume is in excellent condition and measures 45cm x 58cm x 160cm.
This signature costume was an integral component in the creation of one of the most memorable and alluring characters in the entire Terminator franchise and is a true collector’s gem in its complete form.

- More Information
Coming a full twelve years after James Cameron’s groundbreaking movie, ‘Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines’ needed a special hook to attract audiences, which it delivered in the form of the TX - a sexy and deadly female terminator with the ability to remotely re-program other machines, usually to devastating effect.
Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the iconic T-850 Terminator; Nick Stahl as future human resistance leader, John Connor; Homeland’s Claire Danes as his future second-in-command, Kate Brewster; and newcomer, Kristanna Lokken, in the pivotal role of the TX, the first female Terminator in the franchise; ‘Rise of the Machines’ was one of the most successful movies of 2003, taking $433.3 million at the box office.
