    Product Description

A beautiful U.S. one-sheet poster  for the celebrated romantic comedy-drama, 'Breakfast At Tiffany's', released in 1961, and starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard.

This evergreen classic, which so memorably depicts the moving story of a naive society girl (Hepburn), and her  developing love for a struggling writer (Peppard), was released theatrically by Paramount Pictures on October 5th, 1961 to great commercial and critical success.

This is the apex for collectors of Hepburn cinematic artwork and is undoubtedly one of the most desirable film posters from the 1960s. Anchored by Robert E. McGinnis artistic rendering of Audrey Hepburn's unforgettable character, Holly Golightly, in her iconic black grown by Givenchy,  this stunning artwork timelessly captures the very essence of early '60s cool. (Cat lovers can hardly resist a smile...)

Based on Truman Capote's novella of the same name and adapted for the screen by George Axelrod (The Seven Year Itch, The Manchurian Candidate),  'Breakfast at Tiffany's' received five Academy Award nominations and ultimately won two Oscars for "Best Song" (Moon River) and  "Best Musical Score" for legendary composer, Henry Mancini. The movie was also nominated or six Grammys and won five!

Conservation linen-backed with restoration around the border, on Hepburn's dress, the areas of white and various other smaller areas. The work has been done to a measurably high standard and displays to great effect.
