Blade Runner 2049 - Officer K's ( Ryan Gosling) Moebius 21 Apartment Key

Blade Runner 2049 - Officer K's ( Ryan Gosling) Moebius 21 Apartment Key

This is an original, production-used apartment key carried by Officer K (Ryan Gosling) in Blade Runner 2049. As a blade runner for the LAPD, K was tasked with hunting down and "retiring" rogue replicants—bioengineered humanoids who had broken free from human control. He lived in a cramped, noisy apartment block, accessing his unit with this digital keycard,

The piece consists of a rectangular key cartridge with a grayish-white finish, marked with dark gray futuristic symbols. It features grooves and channels similar to those found on traditional mechanical keys, designed to interface with a digital reader that grants access to the apartment.

The prop shows production wear, including chipped corners that reveal the light tan base material underneath, along with surface wear around the printed graphics. Despite these signs of use, the key remains in fair production-used condition—a tangible piece from the richly detailed world of Blade Runner 2049. Even though it is only briefly visible in the final cut of the film, it remains an evocative, intriguing, and desirable article of memorabilia from the ever popular Blade Runner franchise.

Blade Runner 2049 is widely considered a great film—and in some circles, a masterpiece—for several reasons. It builds on the legacy of the original Blade Runner (1982) while forging its own path, delivering a rare blend of visual artistry, philosophical depth, and emotional resonance.

Director Denis Villeneuve and legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins crafted one of the most visually impressive films of the 21st century. Every frame is meticulously composed, from the stark, neon-soaked cityscapes of future Los Angeles to the barren orange wastelands of Las Vegas. Deakins won his long-overdue first Oscar for his work on this film—and deservedly so.

Rather than rehashing the original, it expands the universe in meaningful ways. Officer K's journey isn’t just a repetition of Deckard’s—it’s a deeper inquiry into artificial life, personal agency, and systemic control. It asks: If you’re manufactured, can your feelings and memories still be real?

The item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

  • Additional Information

In an era dominated by formulaic franchises and over-explained plots, Blade Runner 2049 stands out as a bold, patient, and artistically ambitious sequel that respects its audience’s intelligence.

K (Ryan Gosling) is a replicant, yet he’s more emotionally grounded than most humans in the film. His search for meaning, identity, and love—especially through his relationship with Joi, a digital AI—hits unexpectedly emotional notes. The irony: the most "human" characters in the film are not human at all.

Blade Runner 2049 is more than a sci-fi movie. It’s a philosophical meditation wrapped in jaw-dropping visuals, driven by strong performances, and rooted in timeless questions about existence. It's the kind of film that rewards repeat viewings and lingers in the mind long after the credits roll...
