Enter the Dragon (1997) Original Japanese B1 Poster

Showcasing iconic artwork from beloved artist, Bob Peak, 'Enter the Dragon' is regarded as one of the most collectable movie posters of all time! Starring martial arts legend, Bruce Lee, it was a movie that literally spawned its own sub-culture and launched Bruce Lee into the pop culture stratosphere! 

This Japanese B1 poster was created for the famous 1997 re-release of the film in the territory. It features a striking photo-montage design - centred around Bruce Lee with his iconic nunchaku - and is largely based on the famous Bob Peak artwork featured on the US One-Sheet with minor adaptations and the addition of a black background.

When Bruce Lee conceived the incredible fight sequences for 'Enter the Dragon', he brought complexity and variety to Western fight choreography. Famously, he replaced the extended low-impact action-sequences that were so endemic in traditional  Hong Kong Cinema with rapid take-downs and knock-outs, superlative weapons skills and dynamic posing.  He was a true innovator and visionary, and his exquisite work continues to inspire and excite, even today....
