    Product Description

A genuine production-used Orc helmet from Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Memorably, The Orcs wore these helmets throughout the film series, most notably in the battles around Gondor and the Black Gates of Mordor.

Director, Peter Jackson, instructed Sir Richard Taylor and Weta Workshop to create an interpretation of Middle-Earth that would be as plausible and believable as possible. Consequently, every prop and costume in the film was created with meticulous detail and articulation.

The helmet is fashioned from vinyl and features narrow eye slits, sharp spiked cheek guards and a crested peak on the crown. The helmet is finished in metallic steel paint with mud and corrosion distressing applied to make the helmet appear hard worn from use in battle. An adjustable leather chin strap allows the helmet to be worn securely.

The helmet has been well used during production and is supplied with a custom made display case and base. It remains in very good condition.
